Visit statistics

We measure visits ourselves, on our own server. No cookies are placed, no IP addresses are stored and no data is shared with third parties. To count visitors we turn your IP address into an irreversible code using a secret value that changes every month. Within that month we can see that someone returns; after that the code can no longer be linked and the trail expires. We keep counts per day, per section, per language and per country for thirteen months. We also measure how long a section is viewed on average, without connecting that to a person.

How long we keep data

Submissions are stored on our own server so that a mail failure does not cost you a request. They are deleted automatically after two years; you can also ask for earlier removal. Data belonging to an assignment is kept for seven years because tax law requires it. After sending a form you receive an automatic confirmation containing what you filled in.

Sharing with others

We do not sell your data and use no advertising or tracking services. For sending email we use the mail server of our hosting provider Strato, where the message is processed in order to deliver it.

Your rights

You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw any consent at any time. Send a message to the email address below; you will get a reply within four weeks. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
